This tiny sliver of a shop has room for one glass-front food display case and five customers, if they squeeze in a bit. The case holds eleven types of beef, pork and chicken jerky, stacked like decks of crisp, colorful cards. From tan or pale red to dark brown or ruby; glistening in their sauces, they are wildly appealing to jerky fans. A sign on the showcase insists, “No Pictures”. Sold by the quarter, half or full pound, the creations of Malaysia Beef Jerky, Inc. are sliced and spicy. The latest addition to the array is shrimp-flavored pork jerky.
